Developer Holland Partner Group has secured final approval for a large mixed-use project at 3896 Stevens Creek Boulevard in San Jose.
The project, located at the intersection of Stevens Creek Boulevard and Saratoga Avenue, would replace a small retail complex with a pair of eight-story buildings containing 575 residential units above 14,000 square feet of ground-floor commercial space. Plans also call for a 700-car garage.
Holland Partner Group would set aside 29 of the apartments for very low-income households as a condition of approval.
TCA Architects is designing the contemporary mixed-use complex, which would include a public plaza and a paseo separating the two buildings, as well as amenities such as fitness centers, co-working space, and a pool deck.
The project was approved through San Jose's streamlined ministerial ordinance.
Other recent Holland Partner Group projects include the 725-unit Orlo and Alba apartments near the Santa Clara Caltrain station.
