Quarterra, a subsidiary of Lennar Corporation, is completing construction on Hawkins Treasure Island. The architect firm Mark Cavagnero Associates led programming, concept design, and schematic design for the 178-unit project.
The unit mix includes 38 studios, 80 one-bedroom, 58 two-bedroom, and two three-bedroom units. Community features include the broadest range of modern amenities, including co-working spaces, a rooftop terrace, a courtyard, a lounge, and a 24-hour fitness center.
Pre-leasing has commenced, with residents able to move in in early February.
Hawkins is just a tiny part of the broader development underway on the site of a former naval station. The plans include up to 8,000 housing units, 300,000 square feet of retail space, 500 hotel rooms, and 100,000 square feet of office space across a 465-acre neighborhood. They also include a new ferry terminal, providing direct access to downtown San Francisco.
The Treasure Island redevelopment is owned by a joint venture partnership between Stockbridge Capital, Wilson Meany, Lennar Corporation, and Kenwood Investments.
